If it was when OOTP was coming out, that was in June 2003, because I 
joined HPFGU in the following month.

I didn't think that you were speculating, June. I was just adding my two 
pennyworth to the question of names. My final comment was because 
some of JKR's naming has been carefully worked out. For instance, you 
have the humorous ones like Umbridge, Durmstrang or Grimmauld. And 
those where she subtly changes the meaning of a word as in Disillusion 
or Apparition. I think she must have used the town and regional names 
because she like the sound of them...
