I agree, Miles, and would add this:

:"After all this time?"  (You still love Lily so deeply that your patronus
is the same as hers?)
:"Always," said Snape.  (I do and I will until the day I die.)


I don't see how Snape's patronus being the same as Lily's would indicate
that Snape cares for Harry.  I would love for someone who sees it that way
to explain it to me.
