I don't think Dumbledore told him. For one thing, Dumbledore
seemed to keep everyone (including Snape) on a need to know
basis and for another, Snape didn't seem to know when Harry was
wandering around the corridors in TPS and when he was questioning
Harry in POA. Of course he would have been suspicious so you
might have a point after all. Maybe he went to Dumbledore about
Harry's head appearing in Hogsmead and Dumbledore told him how
it happened.
