Awe yes, I see it now, he did put it on (I remembered as I was
reading it). Dumbledore is human, what do you know. It is sad really,
he had to live with the loss of his parents and his sister for so
many years and the feeling of guilt as well. It is understandable how
he could have forgotten at that point. However it still all boils
down to being Voldemort's fault. If Voldemort hadn't done the things
he did, that would not have happened. The only one to blame is
Voldemort and his followers (the ones that weren't under the
imperious curse anyway).
