Dorothy:
  I don't read fanfics, but I thought the Unspeakables must be into more 
"scary" stuff than research.  Of course there's nothing in canon about them 
since they appear to be a throwaway, but it did lead me to believe something 
almost sinister.  Just a thought here, though.
