Geoff:
Not in the sense in which we use OT to describe where members diverge from 
canon. It's perfectly valid to refer to other books to reinforce the point(s) which 
we may be making apropos of the discussion in hand - in this case how we
view Mundungus as a character, which includes whether we trust him further 
than we can throw him., which I don't :-).
