A) Senseless Ginny didn't join the defenders as a non-combatant.
B) That 7th floor hallway wasn't under attack.
C) Being where she should have been would have made it extremely easy for Harry to find her; when she came into the room to warn them that Draco and the Butt-Boys were headed their way.
