Yes Geoff, it was Jim Dale who read the American version. I am in
Canada and have listened to both versions and they were very well
read by both. We get the British version of the books here but the
American version of the audio books, but when I head that Stephen
Fry read the British version, I had to get it because I think he is
just a brilliant actor.
