Hi Bruce,
Both Stephen Fry and Jim Dale(both British) are audio book readers
for JKR books.  Both are great; I too live in Canada.  I find some
of the changes made for American readers rather loses the British
feel that too is so charming about the wizard world.

I could not agree with you more Charla. I too think it loses the british feel in the american version. I have family in Derby and am very familar with the british slang. Try using it at work or around friends some time. I get quite the laugh out of watching them try to figure out what I just said lol.
