I thought he was giving them good advice. I was hardly shocked. Lots of parents handle problems with a "less said the better" attitude.

I was not sure how to take it. Were they actually hurting them? Were the Muggles conscious? Why was everyone so afraid? Who were these people?

I remember the poor overworked guards trying to keep evverything in order, but not receiving any respect. I also recall Ludo Bagman who got his job on influence and never seems to do anything he is supposed to do.
