I don't know if HP was meant to be a Christian allegory, I do think JKR intentionally placed Christian symbols and literary types in the series and I do think, overall it was about good and evil.

As to your question about TBTMNBN---maybe yes. I didn't pick up on it myself though. But now that I think about it.....
