Erm, I'm not so sure myself. If the Marauders were nicer to Snape, but Lily still ended up with James, I feel like Snape still would have been pretty nasty to Harry. Not as nasty, perhaps, but still nasty; Snape's really not a nice person, after all.

Of course, the Marauders being nicer to Snape could have any number of consequences on the way events played out. If they didn't bully Snape, Snape might not have called Lily a Mudblood and she might not have cut ties with him, and as a result she might have ended up marrying him instead of James. (Of course, that's only provided that Snape wouldn't have fallen in with the Junior Death Eater Squad at school; I feel like, if he still had, THAT probably would have been enough to drive her away eventually.)
