Robby was an occasional Guest Star on Lost in Space as well as other 
shows like Columbo. As for the film that was The Invisible Boy where 
he is described as having come into the present via a time travel 
experiment which brought him back from the future (there is even a 
photo of the C57D with the crew and Robby shown).
