  I think the real question that has merit is: "What if Fleur and Ron got together?" I think it would started to strain Ron after a while with a long distance relationship especially with Hermione around. It would be later in the "Half Blood Prince" where Ron knows who his true love is but what if it was different? Thoughts?

    I don't think it even would have been anything that ever would have happened, either because of Fleur's thinking of Ron as a very young boy or because Ron sort of "knew" Hermione was his real love.
