goblet of fire question?

Hi everyone,


Terrific posts that I am going to address.
<looks embarrassed>
I have absolutely no discipline  where this series is concerned.
As i think I said it is only my second time reading it, with my first 
being a recording.
In any case, I have  only now finished goblet of fire.  yes I have read 
four of them  in a very short span of time smiles.
I will have lots of questions later,  as I will be rereading somethings.
Still I noticed  a rather large omission, and imagine someone must have 
noticed this as well at publication.
When  everyone gets back to Kings cross  at the end of the novel and are 
saying goodbye  to harry before he leaves with his uncle, where was Gini?
I could understand her absence the rest of the trip, but she had to leave 
the train station  so, her not being there at all was Unusual.
Anyone recall if an explanation for that was ever provided?
