I'm probably one of the few, older fans, who feels this way, but I really don't care about future books or hearing about the kids in the future; honestly, when Severus Snape was killed, well, I certainly read to the end of the series, but I don't want to read any more. Particularly with Alan Rickman dying, I don't think I could ever read any new Harry Potter books, ever.
