[HPforGrownups] Perhaps a very simple question?

   For these questions and others relating to fan fiction or the 
original books themselves, I would think that the stories were written 
as they were (and bought into) so one would be brought along on the 
narrative.  If it were that simple to kill Harry by killing his aunt and 
uncle, what good would come of that?  No Harry Potter series?
