Kare:
Granted I have only read this once..so far, but based on the prophecy wording, it does not seem likely to have been given prior to Voldemort's defeat by Harry. Actually it would not make sense at all if not given after this point. In this moment, realizing I desire another read, I am feeling it was given in the window after that defeat, say one year later or so.

Kare:
Which seems to confirm my feeling that it was not given until after his defeat, based on Tom's stance at the final battle. If he already knew he would lose his body again, his actions would reflect as much in theory at least.

Kare: You brought this up before I could. Voldemort would have no reason to save Bella unless he indeed respected her devotion, if there was something ritualistic going on, possible even without the romance because Voldemort liked things violent and power based, or if she were already pregnant. Bella made no secret that she considered herself his most faithful, and I am sure she would have done anything at all to prove as much. Karen
