Well Grindelwald was defeated so you'd think he should. Grindelwald had The Elder Wand. Grindelwald would be usingthat in the duel and Dumbledore took it. I should think it was public knowledge, why would he fight such a duel with an inferior wand after all? But perhaps it wasn't known I just didn't see how.
I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
