Yes -- Bill Weasley works for Gringotts in Egypt after all. One wonders
if Gringotts headquarters is in fact in Egypt and perhaps Diagon Alley
is in fact a "branch." Why else would Bill choose to work in Egypt?
I imagine they have branches in all countries with wizarding populations.

You would think so -- although he doesn't seem to (otherwise he wouldn't
have needed care packages from his friends in GoF).

Well, I thought that Emma & Rupert were actually more at-ease &
articulate during the BBC press conference than Dan (the one that Nick
gave us the link to). In fact, some commentator noted that Emma seemed
like an old-hand with the press. I'm pleased so far with all 3 of
them. Everyone's got to start somewhere. I think if JKR is
pleased with the choices (and from all accounts, she is), then we should
probably approach their casting with an open mind.

as</tt>

That's especially true in the Hermione/Krum context. He's entering
the adult world, and even though girls generally mature faster than boys,
I have the impression that Hermione isn't ready for as much as Krum wanted.
And, I don't think the interest level was really there. I think she
was flattered but didn't really see it as anything too serious.
<blockquote TYPE=CITE><tt>5.) MERCHANDISE: Is the Hallmark stuff
available yet?</tt></blockquote>
I'm dying to know this too. Someone on hpanonymous said they reserved
Hallmark & Dept 56 merchandise. She's never responded to my request
as to *where* she reserved this merchandise. Heidi -- you're pretty
up on the merchandise angle. Any thoughts?
<blockquote TYPE=CITE><tt>6.) DISCUSSION: Penny, Melanie, are there

Yes -- take a look at -- <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/ravenclawlady/discussion.html">http://www.geocities.com/ravenclawlady/discussion.html</A>
