I've been meaning to post on this subject for quite a while.  As someone who just LOVES socks, I totally believe that they are exactly  what Dumbledore sees in the mirror.  It seems quite a natural desire to me.  IMO, I think Dumbledore already has possibly everything his heart desires.  Castles are cold and drafty.  I think in ths case, that socks are just the ticket!
