>is the first chapter of GOF told from Harry's POV? Obviously not as >he is unaware of what took place there. > >-Billy You're right there, but I think of the first chapter of PS/SS to be an opener. In many different books, the first or last chapter is told from a different perspective than the rest of the book. It kind of sets things up. But if my memory serves me correctly, that is the -only- scene in which Harry is not involved. I believe that we see at least some things from Harry's perspective, as if through his own eyes. For example, in GOF when he was running from the Death Eaters after his and Voldemort's wands broke apart, the death eaters were shooting spells at him. Yet we didn't know who exactly shot them or how many, we only knew what Harry knew. I agree that it is in third person limited, but that doesn't mean that at least some things aren't seen in Harry's POV, and his opinion of them. For example, when Dudley was described as "a pig in a wig", I believe that's Harry's opinion of what Dudley looked like. As always, it's just my personal opinion. No rudeness is needed :) I don't want this turning into a heated discussion! ~Echo _____________________________________________________________ Get your free mail --> http://www.gundamwing.org Comprehensive GW info, official info, galleries, translations, doujinshi, fanfics, multimedia, music and much much more!
