I don't know if this has come up in discussion yet, and I've yet had the time to go through the thousands of posts to look(I'm sorry!), but I was wondering...
Does anyone remember in the first book, the night of the first feast? When Harry and his future friends were sorted? When Harry looked over at Snape, he felt his scar burn with pain for a moment. Why is this? 
I'm really sorry if that question has already been answered/debated, but it's been bugging me for a while! I'd really like people's opinion about it. Thanks, everyone!
