First off, I meant to say therefore. I've known people that grew up with very little in regards to materialistic, and they learn to do without those things, and not to place value on them. So THEREFORE, even when they get out of that situation and come across fortunes or wealth, because of their upbringing, not despite it, they don't hold as much value on materialistic objects as other people.
When I described the Dursleys as wealthy, I was using the word in comparision to how they treated Dudley, to how they treated Harry. I.E Dudley had the nicest clothes, toys and games, a big bedroom, etc. While Harry had only a few broken, old toys, and old, too-big clothing. That's what I meant, not that they were the richest people in the world.
Also, when I said that Harry inherited a small fortune from his parents, I was going off what the books say, now what J.K.R has said in interviews. And in the books, several times, it's described as just that, a small fortune. So that's what I call it.
Just curious, why are you nipicking every single word I say? It's not as if I'm saying Harry has a secret romance with Voldemort and Snape is really an Emerald city Citizen. I really don't see the purpose of 'correcting' me on such seemingly petty things, and wording!
