I felt ridiculously pleased with myself when I first noticed that "Diagon Alley" is also "diagonally," and "Knockturn Alley" is "nocturnally" (particularly appropriate for a place devoted to the Dark Arts).  Another of JKR's delightful bits of wordplay...
