One of my friends here in the real world and i have speculated on whether Voldemort might recruit Dudley into working for him?!!!  Afterall, Dudley's Aunt Lily and his cousin have(had) magic, maybe he does too?  What if Uncle Vernon knew what that 1st letter for Harry would be because he had just recieved one about Dudley a few weeks earlier?!!  Maybe Aunt petunia is a squib?  What if Lily's family WAS magical, but Petunia rejected it or was a squib or something?  Can you see Dudders finding out he has magical powers and wants to attend Hogwarts and (of course) get placed in Slytherin?  He'd fit right in with Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle!  uniform wouldn't be a problem anymore-robes can probably spread pretty far, he'd love the food and Hogsmead.  At some point it is mentioned that Harry is thinking about how much Dudley would love Honeydukes.  Maybe that was some of the foreshadowing there has been so much discussion about?!  This could be a VERY ugly twist in the tale!
