I think I was the person who first put that out ther last week along with some other questions about Muggle parents. What if that letter was dropped in your lap by an owl and there were directions on how to get to the magical supply shops and how to get to school? Would you at least check it out? Even if it were a prank, it could be pretty fun! > A comment about Harry's Christmas Presents: How did he always get stuff > from the Dursleys by owl? I've wondered about this as well! Maybe Dumbledore or McGonogall send hedwig with a note saying "Send soemthing or else!" How about Hermione's Mum and Dad? Does an owl stop by their house from time to itme to see if they need to send anything, or just when Hermione sends one? > A question about wands: It seems that a wand is the most important > possession of any wizard/witch. Yeah, where did Peter keep his wand all those years? Or when an animagus tranforms, does everything on them transform as well? (like robes, etc?) Voldemort's wand has feather in it from Fawkes, just like Harry. Obviously he still has it considering the scene in the cemetary, etc. Is this part of the meaning of Order of the Phoenix? Did he(Quirrel)have it in Sorcerer's Stone? Or did Pettigrew have to retrieve it from somewhere for him? (Like Dumbledore's office?) Aren't we all pretty sure that Hagrid has his old, broken wand inside his pink umbrella? Remember, he's not a fully trained wizard and is probably pretty aware of his limitations and only uses it for emergencies (like going to get Harry on his 11th birthday). Also, didn't Mr.Olivander say something like the wand chooses it's owner? (I'd look it up, but my copy of that one is in my sleeping daughter's room and she has school tomorrow...)
