In PoA Snape calls Lupin to his office via floo powder. Since most every room has a fireplace, this would be pretty good way to get around. I don't however recall a fireplace in the description of Dumbdore's office? Are there fireplaces in the dorm rooms or just the commons rooms? If no firplace in those rooms, how do they keep warm in the winter? Magic? Some rooms may NOT have fireplaces as a security measure against unwanted visitor "flooing" in. Makes sense to me.
