Sorry to be taking so long to respondto this one-beastly week at work! Anyway, perhaps the wizard world learns about the movement of the stars for reasons that sailors used to-direction.  Traveling by broomstick at night would be made much easier if you could read the your direction via the stars!  Cloudy night?  Spose they fly that high?  While we're on this, what do you suppose the wizard world thinks of lifeon other planets?  Do THEY get abducted?  This could be a good reason to study the stars! Ok, I know I'm getting out there, but....
