I like the idea of Harry as a saviour type. Many have cited various similarities between the Christ story and that of Harry Potter. A golden child is born to the world against horribly immense odds (a virgin mother, and a rebounded death curse). Both face temptation and powerful foes. When it comes to the idea of a resurrection, I have a slight problem. Not because, however, I wouldn't love to see that. My only problem is that it is mentioned a couple of times in canon that magic can't bring people back. As the plot force of choice in the series, it almost seems like any resurrection would have to be by magic. Of course, there is always that most ancient of magics called on a few times in the story (e.g: the sacrifical love of a mother, and that which protects Harry while with his relations), and this good be a loophole, of sorts. It is not as if we have not seen the rules of magic bent in the past. No one, before Harry, had ever survived a death curse (AK). Maybe the rules will be bent one last time.... If I had my way, and Harry had to die, we would see him (in ethereal form), or at least it would be known openly, moving on to a place so much better than the world he will leave, to join his parents and other relations, completely at peace, his job done, and his reward finally granted. *spoiler* Much in the manner of the journey to the Grey Havens at the end of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy *spoiler*. *tear* L.
