Just a quick point here.  The Lexicon actually has Ted Tonks as being a Muggle-born wizard.  Tonks is still considered a Half-blood because, like Harry, her grandparents on one side were muggles.

I can't find anything on Quik Quotes so the canon information must be in OotP in the bit about the Black tapestry.  (Will go check the book later)
