Harry would (might) survive the Killing Curse? Did he know
(suspect) that the Curse would be partially absorbed by the
Horcrux within?

Bart:
My take on it is based on the following real world phenomenon: In
multi-car accidents involving drunken driving, the drunk driver is
often the least injured. The reason for this is that everybody
else's muscles tighten in anticipation of the injury, while the
drunk driver is more relaxed, and his body is able to "roll with the
blow" so to speak.

In the case of Harry, the impression I got was that the Horcrux
would get the brunt of the death spell, but ONLY if Harry left
himself entirely open to it. If Harry had any hint he was not going
to die, he would have tensed up, and left himself open to actual
death.
