Actually, the way blood wards work, Harry could NOT have been the
focus. Uncle Vernon was not a blood relation of Harry. Had Harry
been the focus, the minute Vernon tried in anyway to abuse Harry he
would have been gone. Dudley must have been the focus. Harry would
only benefit because he was accepted to be living there. This would
also explain the need for him to go back each year. If he skipped
then he would not be able to go back.<br><br>--
