Sure, Umbridge, Voldemort, Bellatrix, were bad characters, but we knew they were. They didn’t hide their evil. Dumbledore was willing to sacrifice absolutely anyone for his version of the so-called greater good. Good men working in secret and getting away with it because nobody questions them, is much more frightening to me, than those who are obviously doing bad things.
