Things I pray to see in OOTP

Lots and lots, but here's a select few (and bear in mind I have managed
to stay completely spoiler free apart from a really annoying quote about
Quidditch. Ugh).
Firstly, I don't know whether anyone else noticed this, but towards the
end of GoF there was this weird scene when Dumbledore *gleamed
triumphantly* - quite inappropriately, I thought. I'd quite like to
know what that was all about.
I want to know All About the Old Crowd. Particularly, I'd like to know
if Arabella Figg *was* a friend of Lily's and has been using Ageing
Potion all this time. I'd also like to see more of Mundungus Fletcher.
I totally agree with Ebony about wanting more back story - but I don't
want too much, because I want JKR to start writing prequels after Book
7. If she has Sirius' complete life worked out, then surely she has the
rest done as well.
I'm really happy that this book is going to have much more about Lily in
it - and have been wondering whether Harry will put two and two together
and go and have some cosy chats with Arabella Figg about his mother.
Speaking of Lily, I would love to be able to see Amanda gloat when her
Snape loved Lily theory is proven. But, I still think he's a vampire.
I'd like to know what Professor Trelawney's First Prediction was - and
hope that it is something to do with the importance of the Potters to
Voldemort (please no heir of Gryffindor stuff).
I want more of Sirius and more of Lupin (ESE Lupin would be interesting)
- I'd like Sirius to be able to spend the whole book well fed and with
decent robes. Although that's not that likely if he's going to stay
with the penurious Lupin.
I'd like to be proved right about Ginny not being a whiny, immature
cry-baby who is as much use to the plot as Buckbeak (who was it who said
that originally?). So more time to Ginny.
I'd like to see more of the inner working of the Ministry, and hope that
Percy is being cut a break (not Ron).
Now, Penny, Ebony - don't jump on me, but I would quite like to see a
bit of R/H. Why? Well, because it will *obviously* all go wrong
leaving the way clear for Harry in later books - so we would have lost
the battle, but not the war. And it might mean that Harry spends a
little more time with some of the other Gryffindors - and I want to find
out more about Neville (convinced about the memory charm) et al.
I'd like Harry not to take no for an answer when people refuse to answer
his questions.
I don't want Hagrid to die.
I'm intrigued by the shift in atmosphere between Snape and Harry at the
leaving feast in GoF. How is that going to develop? Are they going to
be forced to work together?
I think that's enough for now,
Catherine
