Oddly enough, although the Flints annoyed me at first, the most I
can come up with is six for the whole thing, and some of those could
actually have very plausible explanations, which would mean that,
compared to earlier entries in the series, this one is really
relatively error-free (especially when you consider the sheer SIZE
of the thing). I didn't address the Flints in my review at all as I
felt that they didn't really impact on the overall story.

I don't even count this as one of my six (person) Flints.
Dumbledore also gave Harry back his Invisibility Cloak in first
year. It's not implausible that he should have just handed the map
back to him as well, before Harry left. This happens off-screen, so
to speak, and it would have been nice for it to be mentioned in
passing, but it's not really Flint-like, IMO.

I noticed that. I don't even think we've had a case of Hermione
swearing at this point. She frequently screams, "Ron!" in shock
when he does it. Which could be why Ginny swears, of course. She's
behaving a lot more like a girl who's grown up with a lot of
brothers, who, we know (because of Ron, for a start) don't watch
their language. She's also fourteen going on fifteen (or she may
even have turned fifteen by the end of the book). You don't want to
know about my language when I was fifteen. ;)

Again, dating and shipping isn't something I really address in my
review, as there were other things that seemed more important in
this book. In fact, shipping seemed monumentally unimportant, and
perhaps not just because of JKR having so many younger readers.

Anyway, here's the link to my woefully-underused LiveJournal review,
so I don't overwhelm people's mailboxes (it's about 13K):
