whatever happened to Rudolphus?

I apologize if this is a topic that has been beaten to
death, or if it is made clear in the text  - and I
just missed it.  My question is this: Whatever
happened to Rudolphus Lestrange?  I believe that
Sirius tells us in OotP that he is living in Azkaban. 
I assumed that he escaped with Bellatrix, but then we
do not hear anything more about him.  Did I miss
something?  Did he die in Azkaban?  Is he one of the
unnamed DE's in the lightening-struck-tower battle?
