Lyn now:

Perhaps some component of love, but to the extent that DD believes in the prophecy, the 
loss of Harry would be far more devastating than any personal emotional attachment, it 
would me the loss of the person with the power to defeat LV. 

Personally, I think DD's greatest fear is the loss of his most powerful weapon, a weapon 
which can be used to save the entire WW, for whatever that is worth. He was willing to 
sacrifice himself to insure that the weapon would remain operable.
