Brian:
I don't disagree that these murders *could* have been faked - I'm just
relying on what is says in the book.  As you point out below, just
about anything *could* happen....especially where DD is concerned.

Brian:
Definitely entertaining (and ain't that what Herself does
oh-so-well?), and certainly plausible (heck, in this universe, what
*isn't* plausible) - but there's no evidence as yet to say anything
other than what canon says: Bones and Vance have been murdered,
Fortescu and Olivander are MIA (through unspecified means) and
Dumbledore is dead, having been AK'ed by Snape.  Simple as that.  I
know that I'm being very literal here - even obstinately so (mostly
because I'm not clever enough to be otherwise) -  but canon says what
it says, and until it says something else, I'm obligated to believe
what it currently says.
