Which is a bit odd - the Hugo is an SF award. The convention was more than a
bit pissed off that she never even asked anyone to attend and pick up the award
for her - it was considered to be very bad manners; downright insulting, in fact.
(The short list - five novels - is published months in advance.)

Strangely enough, she's never won the equivalent World Fantasy Award.
Next question:
is Harry Potter Science Fiction?
Ans. - No.
So what the hell....?
