It's a fun rant and combines appropriate Agatha Christie worship and
charming phrases like "height of complimentary" and the droll "Vold
War 1".  The idea of McGonagall being an unregistered animagic is an
interesting twist; although here I feel malice is being attributed
rather than stupidity: it's a bit hard to hide being an animagus if
one parades the ability in front of ones students as a transfiguration
teacher. In fact, the line of reasoning rather compells you to choose
between malice and stupidity, and rather depends on how you view her
reactions. This is a classic Christie damoclean pose, and it IS rather
attractive. And she's right: it's always the person you least expect.
