I think that HP is streets ahead of most fiction (at least the fiction 
that I read) in mentioning toilets, and setting scenes in them.  We 
even get Harry's thoughts about them being flushed into the lake, when 
he is swimming in it.

Clearly a point to bear in mind when arguing with HP's detractors.
