When the SK dies the secret is frozen, restricted to those that already
know it. And they can't divulge it to anyone new, so Snape shouldn't
be able to ferry DEs into the joint willy-nilly.

Which sort of contradicts DH which went wittering on about everybody
who knows the secret on the death of the SK becomes in effect a new 
Secret Keeper who can pass it on to whoever they wish, or even by
misadventure, which is what happened with Hermione and Yaxley - 
"Since DD died we're all Secret Keepers."
Oops!
Now which version did I misunderstand?
