Penny,
Wow! High school reunions--gotta love 'em.
Sorry about the files. I didn't realize that people might not be familure with .zip files.
I've replaced the .zip files with .exe files which, when run, will create a message files. All you need to do is click a file's link and when the "File Download" dialog box appears, select "Run this program from its current location." The computer will receive the executable and run it. When this finishes, you'll be prompted for a directory to store the message file. Remember your selection. I typically choose "Desktop" (by Browsing) which is always at the top of the list.
I'll be reading posts tonight and should be able to respond quickly with any difficulties.
One more thing...I'm making this complicated so that the files are kept as small as possible. I realize that Nick (and possibly Simon) pay by the minute. Back in the old days (which for me was 1986), I hated making long distance calls longer than necessary.

Hope you have (had) a great trip! When you get back & get your feet on the ground again, could you walk me through how to access the HP4GU Message Archives (on zoom.com)? I pulled it up just fine on Sunday, but the text option (?) that used to be there seems to be missing. When I click on the updated files, I get a message telling me I need to download a plugin or something in order to read the files.
Sorry! I'm *so* technically challenged but maybe you can help me figure this out since it's such a great resource (and both list-moms should know how it works!).
Thanks --
Penny

Everyone,
I made a quick update to the message archive since its been growing
so fast. Also, I be away from technology this weekend and I fear
that I'll have about 1000 new messages to deal with when I get back.
I'll get my work done on the FAQ once I return. School crept up on
me unexpectedly. Distance learning--can't stand it!
Happy reading!
Paul
