Voldemort after the potters

Hello all;

The Olympics is on in the background and I am heading towards another late
night on the FAQ's (I work best with the tele or radio on and at early times
like these - 1am).

Question: Where does the question of why Voldemort was after the Potter's
(or even which Potter's he was after) come?
It also involves the question of Trelawney's predictions, since almost
everyone thinks this is what the 'other correct prediction' concerns.
I now give out the options as I see them.
