If you want to work in Composer, just go to the page on the web,
select "Edit page" from the file menu, and do a "Save as..." to
create a copy with a new name on your own hard drive. I'm using
simple file names as much as possible, so the Geography page is
called "geography.html" for example. I always use the "html"
extension instead of "htm" too, and it's best to keep things
consistent. Then you can type right into our template. When you're
done, send me the file and I'll edit, add the index at the top of the
page if you haven't, and upload it.

Until I see what Paul's conversion program will do, please don't save
your Word doc in HTML. I'll do that myself. Otherwise we get all
sorts of extraneous junk in there - HTML tags, carriage returns, etc.

I have Mike's name to add to the Neville one too. Thanks.

Actually, the hit counter is trickier for me, since I don't write cgi
code. I have to rely on third party counters, which means they don't
upload very well from Composer, so I have to ftp the file when I
update it. I know that means nothing to most of you (or me, almost).

If anyone knows how to write a nice simple hit counter for us that
will upload easily in Composer, I would be eternally in their debt.

Heidi, I recently received an official permission from Warner Bros to
use their graphics. I could put the exact same credit line on our
pages that they asked me to use for the Lexicon. Would that be a
good idea?
