Hi --
Thanks to Simon for the FAQ status report. Sounds like you are in good
shape! BTW, I emphathize with the numbers of messages to trudge
through. There were tons of messages where Hermione's name popped up,
but she was not at all the subject. But, it was hard to devise a search
that would cover messages that discussed Hermione & weren't just a
mention of her name.
Can we have status reports from everyone else -- namely Carole, Ebony &
Margaret? We haven't heard from any of you in awhile. How do you
stand? Do you have an ETA?
Can we hear from the techies -- namely Steve & Heidi. Are we still
planning to upload the FAQs to the Lexicon site, or since we now have a
website, are we going to upload there instead? When can we begin
uploading, and who is in charge? <g>
Here's my report. Hogwarts is the only one left on my plate. I've been
through the Yahoo Club messages & almost all the egroups/yahoogroups
messages at this point. I have some notes from all the books except
GoF. I figure I will draft out a FAQ without worrying about going
through GoF at this point, since I also plan to provide a link to the
Lexicon.
I need to do minor updating on Wizarding Govt (from the schoolbooks),
Romance, Religion, Fanfic, and Mysteries. I suspect I may have more
than minor updating to do on Hermione since we are slated to discuss her
next week. JKR & Universal Appeal of HP are pretty much ready to go I
think.
So .... I plan to finish Hogwarts in the next 3-5 days. I plan to
update everything except Hermione after that. I will update Hermione as
soon as discussion dies down. I *hope* to have all this done before
Baby Linsenmayer arrives.

I wouldn't worry much about Predictions. We'll get more Predictions
material as time moves on anyway. I'll be much happier to have Harry &
Voldemort FAQs than Predictions. :--)

Great! Be sure to at least leave drafts of as much as you can so in
case you disappear for an extended period, we could work with your
drafts.

Thanks Simon! Baby Linsenmayer is making me think she wants to come out
soon -- lots of kicking & stretching & such all week long. She may also
be trying to reassure me that she's fine since we know a couple whose
baby died en route to the hospital from their home on Wed morning. The
cord had wrapped tightly around his leg as he dropped into the birth
canal & choked off his oxygen supply. By the time they realized there
was a problem, it was too late. It's been an emotional roller-coaster
week to say the least.
Penny
