Important distinction to note: the Mod team that is discussed above, 
and the MEG list discussed below, are *different groups.* The Mods at 
that time were a high-level moderator group, supported by the elves 
and geists on MEG. Almost all the Mod team are gone; MEG is actually 
now just EG, elves and geists, there are not Mods per se anymore.
