Hey,

Yeah, you're quite correct on all of that. I remember at one time
that list administration spelled out how the TBAY prefix was to be
used on the main list, but I don't think anyone ever explained what
theories go into HA.

The answer is that there really isn't any consistent or logical
reason why some things go into HA and some do not. Generally, we're
attempting to minimize TBAY confusion and guide new members to posts
that will help them understand TBAY-speak. Also, many of the
theories in HA did not start out as TBAY-prefixed because the prefix
wasn't adopted until Spring, 2002.

Anyway, we tend to add things to HA based on the likelihood that
people will start referring to the theory as a metaphor or
personification. That's the reasoning behind entries like "Yellow
Flag Violation" and "Faith." This is so even if the theory is
usually discussed outside TBAY -- as is the case with the majority
of MAGICDISHWASHER posts.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but let me have a go.

If you were writing an FP, you could drop a link to HA for the HA
parts of it if you want, but you don't have to.

<snip way more thought than I've ever given to the Harry FP>

<falls down to knees in appreciation and profound gratitude>

I think this is just fabulous! I don't have any thoughts right now,
but I'm sure I will post-OoP. In the meantime, if any edits or new
ideas pop into my head, I'll post them here or send them to you off-
list, Abigail.
