FictionAlley, with help from TheRogue.net, are thrilled to announce
the first of twelve fanfic/fanart/vid challenges for 2007.

You can click here - http://www.fictionalley.org/challenge2007/january
here to get your prompt - a spoof of the title of Book Seven - Harry
Potter & the Deathly Hallows. It will include the name of a character
and an anagram of "Deathly Hallows". Some possibilities are

   1. LunaLovegood and the Weal Hath Dolly
   2. Ron Weasley and the Daily Howla
   3. Lee Jordan and the Alley Hath Wold

No, they don't all make sense, but that's part of the fun! And feel
free to shift the words around, but please don't rearrange the
letters!

The challenge is for you to write a story of 100 - 1500 words, make a
vid, or create fanart, based on your prompt, and post it in
FictionAlley Park at
http://forums.fictionalley.org/park/newthread.php?s=&action=newthread&forumid=237
- you can, of course, also submit it to FictionAlley's fic archive, or
post the art or vid on ArtisticAlley, and then link there from the
Park forum.

Between February 1 and February 10, FictionAlley users will choose
which two entries will be read on an upcoming episode of
Spell-Cast.com, FictionAlley's podcast for and about the Harry Potter
fandom.

FictionAlley will be hosting one official challenge per month in the
2007 Challenges Forum.

Every individual who enters at least eight challenges during 2007 will
receive a FictionAlley Gift Pack, including a t-shirt, a magnet and a
FictionAlley.org email account. Every individual who enters at all
twelve challenges during 2007 will receive a Super FictionAlley Gift
Pack, including a t-shirt, a magnet, a 2008 calendar and a
FictionAlley.org email account.
